Wheelchair & Disability Assistance at Indian Airports — Free & Easy

All Indian airlines and airports are required by DGCA to provide FREE wheelchair and disability assistance. You just need to request it in advance. Here's how.

How to Request

  1. 📞 At booking: Select "special assistance" during online booking
  2. 📱 After booking: Call airline helpline at least 48 hours before flight
  3. 🏢 At airport: Request at the airline counter — they'll arrange it

What's Provided (FREE)

  • Wheelchair: From terminal entrance to aircraft seat
  • 🧑‍✈️ Escort staff: Dedicated assistant through security, boarding, deplaning
  • 🚐 Ambulift: For passengers who can't climb stairs (remote parking)
  • Priority boarding: First to board, last to deplane
