Which Terminal for Your Airline?

⚠️ IMPORTANT: Always check your boarding pass for the terminal. Airlines sometimes change terminals. The terminal is printed on your ticket/boarding pass.

Getting Between Terminals

  • T1 ↔ T3: Free shuttle bus (20-30 minutes). Runs 24/7.
  • T2 ↔ T3: Free shuttle bus (10-15 minutes)
  • T1 ↔ T2: Short distance, shuttle or taxi
  • Delhi Metro: Airport Express Line stops at T3 (Orange Line). T1 has a separate metro station.
  • International connections: If connecting domestic to international, allow 3+ hours for terminal transfer

Getting to Delhi Airport

  • Delhi Metro (Airport Express): New Delhi station → T3 in 20 minutes. Rs. 60. Best option.
  • Ola/Uber: From central Delhi Rs. 400-800. Traffic can add 30-60 min during rush hours.
  • Prepaid taxi: Available at all terminals. Rs. 300-600 to central Delhi.
  • Parking: Rs. 80/hour (short-term), Rs. 500-1,000/day (multi-level parking).

Food & Shopping

  • T3 (best options): Starbucks, McDonald's, Burger King, Indian restaurants, duty-free shops
  • T1: Limited food options — eat before entering
  • T2: Improving food court with standard options
  • Pro tip: Carry a filled water bottle (empty through security, refill at water fountains inside)

Lounges

  • T3: Plaza Premium, ITC Green Lounge, Encalm Privé (luxury), Travel Club
  • T1: Plaza Premium Lounge
  • Access: Credit card lounge access or walk-in (Rs. 1,500-2,500)
