Prevention (Before Flight)

  • 💊 Avomine: Take 30 min before boarding. Rs. 10 per tablet, available at any chemist
  • 🫚 Ginger: Ginger candies, ginger tea, or ginger capsules — scientifically proven to reduce nausea
  • 🍽️ Eat light: Don't fly on an empty stomach OR a very full one
  • 🚫 Avoid: Alcohol, greasy food, and strong perfumes before flying

During the Flight

  • 🪟 Window seat: Looking at the horizon helps your brain reconcile movement
  • 💺 Sit over the wing: Least movement. Rows 12-18 typically
  • ❄️ Air vent: Point the overhead vent directly at your face. Cool air helps
  • 📱 Don't read: Looking at your phone or book makes it worse
  • 😤 Breathe: Slow, deep breaths through your mouth

If It Happens

  • 🤮 Use the bag: Every seat has one in the pocket. No shame
  • 🧊 Cold cloth: Ask cabin crew for a cold wet towel
  • 🛎️ Tell crew: They deal with this daily and can help
