Digital IDs — What Works?

  • 📱 mAadhaar app: ✅ Accepted at most airports
  • 📱 DigiLocker: ✅ Accepted (digital driving license, voter ID)

Forgot Your ID? Emergency Options

  1. Use mAadhaar app or DigiLocker on your phone
  2. Show any government-issued photo ID you have
  3. Some airlines accept FIR copy (if ID was lost/stolen) + alternate soft copy
  4. DigiYatra enrolled? Use face scan — no physical ID needed

For Children

  • Children under 5: No ID needed (birth certificate helpful but not mandatory)
  • Children 5-12: School ID + parent's ID typically accepted
  • Children 12+: Need valid photo ID (Aadhaar card recommended)
