Flying for the first time can feel overwhelming, but it's easier than you think! This step-by-step guide walks you through everything - €™ - €š - from booking to landing - €™ - €š - so you can fly confidently.
Step 1: Book Your Flight
- Visit TheBookFlight.com
- Enter: From city, To city, Date, Number of passengers
- Compare fares across airlines
- Choose a flight and complete booking
- Save your PNR number (booking reference) — you'll need it!

Step 2: What ID Do You Need?
Carry any ONE of these government photo IDs:
- Aadhaar Card (original or DigiLocker)
- Passport
- PAN Card
- Driving License
- Voter ID
- Government employee ID
Important: Name on ticket must match name on ID. Check for typos!
Step 3: Web Check-In (24-48 Hours Before)
- Open the airline's app or website
- Enter your PNR number
- Select your seat (window for first-timers - €™ - €š - the view is amazing!)
- Download or screenshot your boarding pass
Step 4: Arriving at the Airport
- Arrive 2 hours early for domestic flights
- Go to the Departure terminal (not Arrivals)
